Quite the nice little machine and I’ve always wanted one anyway. So why do I feel so bad about blowing $800? And for a computer no less! This was a really nice deal too. And its my birthday tomorrow! WTF? Could this be a sign I am getting old and too chincy with the money? Of course I’ve always been a tightwad but when it comes to stuff like this I have no qualms usually. I guess the logic section of my brain has come into play here..”You don’t REALLY need this do you?”

Well well well. OK, I’m just playing here a bit. I decided to get all trendy and stuff and try out this blog thing. What the hell is a blog? According to Wikipedia a Blog is:

A weblog, web log or simply a blog, is a web application which contains periodic time-stamped posts on a common webpage.

So basically its an online journal of sorts. A lot of people have them, and spew out what ever is on their mind about all kinds of crap. Some of it is quite brainy, but the vast majority is on things like what they had for dinner or toenail clippings. Mostly useless crap. So, here is my attempt at spouting mostly useless crap.

The software I chose to use is quite versatile and customizable, unfortunately I am not an uber webmaster yet and do not posess the skills necessary to setup this page into a work of online art. I’ll have to settle for the default settings for now and a hacked graphic to tide me over. Will anything worthwhile be written here? Perhaps…more than likely no. This is more of a tinkering project as I have my hands full already with my hobby site turned media power house Dvd-Dweeb.com. Plus things outside of the digital realm keep me busy too so expect sporatic updates here, if at all.
