Awesome! Maybe… Check out this Yahoo story. As a Seinfeld fan, this episode ranks as one of my favorites. Too bad they aren’t allowed to yell at the customer, isn’t that the whole point? Atmosphere and good soup. I like this part the best:

“He is a typical high-strung chef,” she said, and his manner was portrayed “pretty accurately” on “Seinfeld.”

(So high-strung, in fact, Yeganeh hung up on an Associated Press reporter who had lined up an interview ? before a single question was asked ? then refused all further requests for an interview.)

When I visited New York oh so long ago we tried in vain to go eat there, but it was closed for remodeling or something. I was so disappointed. At least we ate at Monks.
