This past weekend, Trisha and I went back to my alma mater Purdue University for my 10 year Homecoming reunion. I went on Friday and I was able to con Trisha into coming down on Saturday. It was great to be able to pretend to be a student again if only for a little while.

In 10 years a lot has changed down in West Lafayette, and at the same time a lot hasn’t changed. It was great to see some of my old classmates and hoist a beer (or many beers) for old times, and it was surreal to have one my old teachers show up for a bit as well. Good call Swifty!

The football game was a lot of fun, even though they lost. (P.S. To the Northwestern idiots in front of us, put a sock in it!). At least it was a close game.

I think I’m going to have to detox for a while and get all that booze out of my system, and grease. Oh how I missed you Triple XXX and Bam Bams! So..maybe I’ll be down again next year…mmmm Purvis Burgers….
