Words cannot describe the last 24 hours. I have not had time to take a moment and think about the events at NIU yesterday and today. I have spent all day on campus, working the press conferences today. It has been stressful, tiring and chaotic. It is odd seeing all this, part of a national news story looking from the inside out this time. I will need some time to wrap this around in my brain to make sense of it, if there is any sense to be made. The future right now is uncertain, and it will be long time before everyone can put this horrible thing behind them. There will be more later.
