I just converted the video I took in the basement right after some of the water subsided.
After this I’m done harping about it, I promise!

This morning I thought what the hell lets get this thing back up and running and see what happens. Wow it works! Ahhh, my online home is back. I even was able to import the stuff from the temporary blog. Wordpress rocks.

A short update…the wheels are starting to turn, slowly. We’ve been in contact with insurance to get the ball rolling and by the end of this week we’ll have the carpet people out for measuring. Still need a repair estimate for our doors and trim that are warped. We had repair people out looking at [...]

Servicemaster came this morning and finally picked up their equipment. Now the next step is to get estimates for repairs, we have to make a list of all the stuff that didn’t make it, get a carpet estimate, and somehow get an appliance technician to come out and check out the TV and other electronics.
